What a beautiful city. I love the statue of Maud - it is exquisite.

And, I especially love your picture. You look so pretty and happy. And, that fountain in the background is magnificent.

I'm glad you both had a clear day for another great outing.

Natalie

Lots of great pics, but the last one is a real gem... in the finest way, you look like a gorgeous peacock!

Looks like a lovely day out Tracy! The Royal Palace looks a bit like Buckingham Palace. I like the statue of Queen Maud-very simple. You look nice sitting by the fountain too!

Lemon Tree Tami

Oh that public park looks delightful and charming. It looks like an excellent outing.

Gigi

What an absolutely beautiful city! Those are awesome photos, too! Thanks for sharing!

I had no idea that one of the former Queens of Norway was a granddaughter to Queen Victoria! How cool.

Thanks for the History lesson! :)

Sophie

What beautiful sites! I'm happy to hear that you and your hubby got to take a little trip. I remember how tough it was during the snowy winter in Boston. But oh how fun it is to finally get to leave the house! Glad to see you smiling :).

Tracy

You look great in front of it...so happy!

Now to read your second post about this trip.
I am falling behind on my blog reading. Too much "real life". It is all good!

GLORIOUS shot of that park, Tracy. Some place you could sit and enjoy for hours on end.

Melanie

Oh my that fountain is like a dandelion seed head! It looks like you had a lovely day out.

Oslo looks so beautiful! The castle is enormous! When I read Karl Johans words they reminded me of what I wrote under my "award free" blog photo..lol!

That department store looks so interesting, and the lovely parks too...you do look like a pretty peacock in the last photo!

Off to read post # 2!

Relyn

I said it before, I must travel to Oslo. I do love that photo of you in front of the fountain. It turns you into the loveliest, most modest kind of a beautiful peacock I've ever seen.

nicolette

Thanks for sharing your lovely pictures!

I‘ve put a trip to Oslo on my wish-list! I’ve always loved to visit the Northern European countries!
