Glad you had a wonderful trip and that you are safely home (and surrounded by laundry ~ isn't that always the case?)! Cute photo of Charlie: either that suitcase is very small or Charlie is huge! I think the former is the case!

Welcome back, sounds like you had a nice time. Hope you get some rest from your long flight home. I don't think Charlie boy wants you to go anywhere for a while now. LOL That photo of him is just too cute, my cats do the same thing when we are packing to leave for vacation, always makes me feel guilty when I leave them. :-)

Tracy, I'm so glad that you enjoyed your visit back home. I always LOVE going back to Texas, and yet I'm also always happy to get back to my life and routine here in England. I hope that your cat doesn't sulk, though, like our cat Minstrel.

Thanks so much for your list of childhood favorites. Our "likes" are identical! I wish that the girls were old enough for Little Women, but not yet I don't think. Anne of Green Gables and the Little House books, for sure. This week I'm taking my oldest class (the 13 year olds) to Jane Austen House and we are watching Sense & Sensibility.

LOVE the photo of Charlie in the suitcase!
Hope you have a relaxing weekend and can recover a bit from the trip --
I always get absolutely wiped out for at least 2 weeks.
So hugs for a great weekend
and a brilliany glorious JUNE!

Dearest sweeet tracy, welcome back!! I am so excited that you are home and thrilled to hear that you had such a wonderful time!! Wishing you a relaxing weekend and get lots of rest! Have a lovely merry happy sunday and love to you!

Welcome home Tracy! I see Charlie is trying to make sure you go nowhere without him anytime soon. LOL

Glad you're home safe and sound and getting over the jetlag! Love, Anne x

p.s. i forgot to tell you that the chocolate was delicious! did you know it has the image of a wood stork imprinted on each square?

Welcome home, dear Tracy! Glad to know you had such a fabulous time. Give Charlie Boy a big cuddle for me!

Look at that Charlie -- He's not going to let you go anywhere anytime soon. Welcome home!

welcome home!! i have a picture of my charley up today. lol.

Welcome home, Tracy! I'm glad you had a nice time in the US with your family. I totally understand the issue with slow or expensive hotel internet service ..it happens to me often.

Hugs, Pat

Welcome back! Charlie knows how to pull the heart strings:)
Sounds like it was an enjoyable trip and glad to see you safely back. Awww .... I remember the jet lag fog.

You've sparked my interest in bone china now ... might have to visit some second hand shops.

Looking forward to the seeing more of your creative pursuits.

So funny to see Charlie curled up in your suitcase. We were home from our big adventure about 2 weeks and had to go away for a weekend. When the suitcases came out our marmalade kitty, Joey, was so upset. He wouldn't even let me get close to him to give him a hug. He knew we were going away again and he was definitely not happy. When we returned he was right at the door to greet us. I just know Charlie is definitely happy to have you home.

That photo of Charlie has so much character.
