February 19, 2010

Hi dear Tracy!
Love all your knitting projects. So lovely! Looks like you have been very busy creating and it is brilliant!
Here the weekend will be of creating too. I am looking forward to spend quality time in my sewing room while the boys have fun with each other. :)
Happy weekend!!
Lots of love and hugs,

Kate England | Marmalade Moon

Love to get a peek into all your fantastic knitting projects! How generous of you to offer patterns for free!

The Ravelry community is yet another one of those things that makes me wish I was a crafter!

I think February is a rough month for many of us here in the north. I've been feeling a lack of energy and focus this month, need more sunshine!

Take care my friend! xx

Wow-despite wanting to hibernate you have been very busy! Love all the knitting-both finished and on the go. Especially that jester hat! Thanks for the free patterns. I shall go and investigate. You wrote the word 'easy' which, combined with the fact that the cloths are square and contain stitches I can do, means I might be able to do some! I have some lovely variegated cotton sock yarn I think-so may be a bit thin but I will give it a go!
Have a great weekend Tracy!

So much knitted goodness in this post Tracy - everything looks amazing! You have been so busy and knitting is the perfect winter craft. Enjoy your weekend, Lisa x

i am not a knitter but you pieces amaze me...the detail and choice of color so perfect, the circle is so intriguing..stay warm my friend!

Wow, you are amazing, fabulous looking projects. I am struggling with how to knit mittens, you are an inspiration. Have a lovely weekend.

Bumpkin Bears

beautiful things, it is just so funny, I too am making the exact same little tunic for my niece!! Great minds think alike :) Love that cute hat too! Hugs, Catherine x

it seems that you're very productive when you're snowed in! Happy 'hooking' then! I used to knit ages ago and now I'm learning to crochet.
I love the "savoring some quiet time" part. bliss!!!

Hi Tracy, just popping in for my weekly visit :) I love the fact you have been doing a lot of knitting. Those spa cloths are perfect. I also looked up the little cardi you are knitting and I love that piece - that is the kind of thing I would knit - it's a in the round knit, so no piecing and and it is perfect for layering.

Wonderful knits! You've been very busy! The hat is so cute, and the colours are lovely. Well done!

Oh Tracy, I'm so excited about your patterns. Just last week I went to a beginning knitting class. I first knitted about thirty years ago, but didn't keep it up. So this refresher course was perfect for me. This time I am really enjoying it. I still have a lot to learn before I'll be able to read your patterns, but I'm determined to make those spa cloths. They are beautiful! One step at a time, right?!

Beautiful creations Tracy! Love the colors...

Lovely pretty finishes. The soap and cloths are such a lovely gift for a new baby. The sweet dress reminds me of an Easter bunny.

Lovely cast-ons.

oooh love the idea of gorgeous patterns - and everything you are making looks gorgeous xox

My goodness, you've been busy! If you have trouble getting yarn, perhaps I could get it here and post it to you, I'm sure that would be cheaper than getting it from the States!!

oh tracy you make me feel so much better - i am into knitting at the moment, as well as my cross stitch, and like you have more than one project on the go, just like you. I always think I should finish one project before starting another but there are too many things to do. I am glad I am not alone.
Your knitting is lovely and as you know I have first hand knowledge. I will show some of my knitting on my blog soon.
have a lovely weekend

You are tempting me to knit again! Funny how I'm withstanding the pressure! Sadly, I don't seem to have the same willpower around sweets!! I think crafting is healthier for me!

You have been so busy. The colors you select are always so soft and welcoming. Your spa cloths are really nice -- the pattern is great (I must learn to knit). Have a wonderful weekend.

I love pink and white together. Your yarn is beautiful besides. Jester hat is soooo cute. Aren't babies fun to knit for?

Tracy, I love, LOVE all your knitted goodies here this morning. I especially love the little jester's hat. Anya will be so sweet in that! Love the idea of free patterns as well. Now if only someone would give me some more free time!! lol not a lot of that going spare I don't think!! I think most people use up all that they have! It was so nice to be able chat earlier this week. It's too bad it could not have been for longer. But perhaps we may have another chance soon??? Hope springs eternal! I love you loads and loads my sweet friend. Love and hugs going your way from across the channel!! xxoo

Gosh you are busy, working with some beautiful colours and more than one project on the go. A weekend of hibernation sounds just the job, I am ever so slightly hung over this morning, more than one glass of wine does that, if only we could knit and chat (quietly) together.

Dear Tracey,
YOU are a knitting Diva!! Also,a generous person for sharing your purl patterns!!
Happy Saturday!!

Dear Tracy,
Forgive me please for misspelling your name above.

Wow, Tracy, you have been busy! What beautiful work you do. Thank you for the free pattern! The spa cloths are so pretty!

What a great pattern! Tracy, I've seen wash cloths like this in a store but didn't have the pattern and didn't want to buy an expensive book just for that reason! I'm definitely going to be making these ~ thank you so much for the free pattern :D

It's lovely to see all the pretty knits you've made. Everything is so well done.
